“President Aylwin Award: Recognition of Excellence in Political Leadership”
 The Forum seeks to provide incentives for leadership by recognizing individuals who have advanced a civic culture based on transparency, accountability, reciprocity, and consistency. These principles form the prerequisites of honest leadership, solid democratic institutions, social inclusion, and equitable economic growth. An annual award will be granted to an individual from the Americas who embody these criteria and has made a significant contribution to good governance and institutional consolidation in the Western Hemisphere. |
